Event Showcase: Here are some of the events we’ve had the privilege of ensuring safety for:

Ideal Home Show Spring

Location: Olympia | Attendance: 250,000 over 18 days

We have spent 8 years working with the Media 10 team delivering this historic event. During the planning stages we work with the house build team in line with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

We produce the Construction Phase Plan and act as the Principal Contractor for this project. Conducting an auditing process, we also review all of the stand designs and their accompanying safety documentation to ensure it complies with the relevant legislation as well as the accepted guidance within the exhibition industry (e-guide). Once on site we provide a team of up to 8 Health and Safety Floor Managers who work with the operations team during the delivery of the event.

Tower of London: Beyond the Deepening Shadow

Location: Tower of London | Total Attendance: 320,000 people over 8 days

Responsibilities: The overall safety strategy for the event including crowd management.

Summary: We were commissioned by the Historic Royal Palaces with 2 months notice in advance of the event to develop a safety strategy. This was a ticketless event which attracted large crowd numbers in a confined space around the Tower of London. From liaising with the SAG, reviewing and monitoring all contractor documents, developing all the safety related documents for the event as well as assisting with the appointment of contractors for the event we became an integral part of the Historic Royal Palaces delivery team.

LAMMA

Location: National Exhibition Centre | Total Attendance: 45,000 people over 2 days

Responsibilities: The overall implementation and delivery of the event safety strategy.

Summary: We were appointed as the Event Safety support for this leading agricultural event when it first moved from its Peterborough location to the N.E.C. Taking up some 12 halls at the N.E.C. we provided full safety support for this event right through planning, delivery on site and review for the following year. We continue to work on this event to this day providing a team of around 14 safety managers on site, implement a self-lifting process for the agricultural exhibitors so they can conduct their own lifting operations within the hall and provide a floor management service to the 100s of exhibitors.
